The Journal of the Egyptian Society of Engineers is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publishing high-quality research and advancements in key areas of engineering and technology. It is peer reviewed under the responsibility of the Egyptian Society of Engineers. The origins of the journal can be traced back to its initial form as a periodic book that documented the scientific and administrative activities of the Egyptian Society of Engineers. The first volume of this publication was distributed on November 28, 1923. In 1962, it was officially transformed into the Journal of the Egyptian Society of Engineers, with its inaugural issue released in July 1962. Since then, the journal has been published continuously, maintaining its legacy as a platform for scholarly contributions in engineering and related fields.

The Journal is cited in the Engineering Information Services (EIS) and the Chemical Abstracts (CA).

The Journal of the Egyptian Society of Engineers publishes original research articles, article reviews, case studies, mini reviews, short communications, and letters to the editor.

Authors from all over the world are invited to submit manuscripts to be published in The Journal of the Egyptian Society of Engineers.
